Did you go through the terrifying French 'adaption' period and now understand the ins and outs of everything, and I mean everything related to admin, medical system, schools, bureaucrazy and more?

Or are you a total newbie but love exploring and sharing about your new findings?

Okay, I need you. WE NEED YOU!

What does a contributing writer do? He/she writes about a specific topic that is relative to the region and our community.

How?! Choose or create 1 or more blog topics that you feel most connected to. Email us and voila, we'll transform your words into a published post!

Here are the steps you will go through to start contributing as a writer to the website:

1. Find a blog angle / topic you feel most connected to and believe can write something about.

2. Reach out to us and let us know which category or specific blog topic(s) you'd like to write about.

3. We will confirm whether it's a go. Why is this step important? Not only to make sure of the relativity of your topic, but also to make sure that someone else is doing the same one already.

4. Draft up a blog (with mid to high-res images) and send it to us.

5. We will confirm if it's good or needs any edits.

6. We will schedule a date for it to be published.

7. Blog gets published!

Here are the following categories for possible blog write-ups:

1. Travel: what are the photo-perfect getaways in the region? (weekend getaways, day trips, beautiful local inns & chateaux, etc) Help us explore.

2. Children: anything & everything revolving children! From activities, to how to register kids at school, which doctors speak English/Spanish/other languages, to dealing with challenges & wonders of being a parent in the region... let the mama-bear speak her mind.

3. French Language & Culture: Getting over the barriers of language & culture, even if you're French from the north is a big deal! Share us how you did/didn't do it, tips and what we should know. Even "Did you know" pieces of history and culture are welcome here.

4. Restaurants, Food & Drinks: The south is known for its vibrant flavor and Mediterranean influences. Help us sniff out all the delicious trails.

5. Entrepreneur: The south isn't just a lazy, sun-drenched cocoon. The challenges and experiences of becoming an entrepreneur here are countless. Share your entrepreneurial adventure, inspirations and tips on how to overcome the hurdles.

6. Life in the region: Whether it's about buying a home, best festivals around town, pop up exhibitions, family life, or the best time for mushroom picking... anything that makes you happy to be able to call Provence home, share your discoveries here.

7. Local Voice: It's important to integrate with the local community and place where we build our nest (whether temporary or permanent). Here's a place where you can share what's happening in your town.

8. Meet The Community: Each member has their own unique story of why and how they ended up in this charming region of the south - read their stories and share us yours! Through these stories, we learn how we all so different, yet so similar. And it will also help you remember that you're never alone.
