Charming family walking trail in Manosque

Les Chemins de Bellevue

Just 5 km out of downtown Manosque, here is a great place to go for a walk for all ages. There are many walks for varying levels of difficulty all in one place.

Heading north on the D5, past park Rochette you turn right off at the yellow signs for D26 and H17, there is also a sign on the left hand side for Les Chemins de Bellevue 1,5. When you turn off the D5 note the road gets pretty narrow and is single lane up to the parking lot.

Once you get to the parking lot though you have some great views on both sides of the mountain. From here there is a simple figure 8 loop that is easy and paved, so great for kids on bikes, in strollers or scooters. There is also an epic tree fort that my boys like to play in on this path. It has a second level and they think it is one of the best forts they have seen here around Manosque.

If you would like a longer hike then follow the path to the right and at the first intersection you can descend on the rocky path into the trees. From here there are multiple paths that are marked with distances and some even how long it should take you to reach the end.

Our family has been there multiple times and my husband made a short video of our last few trips, you can watch it here. Highly recommended!
