Why not discover the work of the famous writer Jean Giono, one of the most important figures not only in French literature, but in Manosque! Born and brought up here, the French author is now celebrated around the world for his work, where his books have been translated in several languages.

Around the centre ville, there is a permanent exhibition where we can discover more about his work and life, which will probably open a door to also discovering more about each other! 

Join us for a beautiful evening of charm, while learning more about the culture that surrounds us in Provence.

Event Details: When: August 25 (Friday), 5 PM. Where: Centre Jean Giono, 3 boulevard Elemir Bourges, Manosque Duration: 45 - 60 minutes. After 5:15 pm, the ticket counter will allow anymore visitors to enter. Please be on time! Price: Group fee special. 5 euros per person (to pay individually at entrance) Meeting Point: Please wait at the little courtyard BEFORE the ticket counter. We will go in group by group to optimize the space.

The center shuts around 6 PM, after which you are welcome to continue the conversation with us as we head on to dinner at La Fiorentina, a sweet little Italian "ristorante" which will be walking distance from the center (5 minutes)!
